fearless writing challenge; day 55: sit and be still

I have the hardest time sitting still. I constantly fidget, adjust, and move. #cantsitstill

At the Davis football game on Saturday, I changed position every few minutes and had to get up and walk several times.

No surprise I have “restless leg syndrome”. I seriously do, it started when I was pregnant with my daughter, even though I didn’t know what it was called. #almosteverynight #twitch

That said, I can sit on a meditation cushion for an hour. #gofigure

Even before the heart-wrenching events in Las Vegas last night, I felt called to become still.

Not only can I not still my legs, I am struggling to still my mind. In fact, I somehow laughed so hard I gave myself a migraine last night. #whatsthatabout?

We are heading there in a couple of weeks. I have only been there once – for a few hours on a business trip. In fact, it was the week I found out I was pregnant with my daughter. #randommemories

With the state of the world at large – internationally, domestically, internally…I just feel called to sit still and breathe.

Will you join me? Even if just for a day…

Quietly,
